Washington, DC, October 1 – Summit Technologies awarded $18.5 Million contract award to support the Department of Veterans Affairs with Human Resource Information Technology (HRIT) services.

Summit Technologies (Summit), a provider of mission-critical information technology programs, was awarded an $18.5 million dollar contract to optimize the information technology processes supporting the Human Resources and Payroll functions within the Department of Veterans Affairs. Summit will support the rollout of enhancements for VA HR information systems and will assist the VA with the development of business processes, governance and portfolio management activities necessary to transform the business of HR. As part of this contract, Summit will target improvements for enhancing the employee and veteran experience and will enable continued operational efficiencies for sustainable end-to-end HR services that support the SDLC Lifecycle. We are absolutely thrilled to be selected to support the rollout of the VA’s HRIT requirements and we look forward to optimizing the delivery of HR services to the VA workforce.
